Women Circles: A Pathway to Empowering Immigrant Women

Traditional training alone is not enough to foster true empowerment. Community, self-leadership, and shared experiences are just as vital. That’s why the RELIGHT project integrates Women’s Circles as a key methodology to support young immigrant women in their entrepreneurial and leadership journeys.

At KLEMKA CoLAB, we have been working alongside AMEPAP, the project coordinator, to develop a gender-sensitive training program that blends practical entrepreneurship skills with self-leadership and intersectionality. Women Circles serve as safe, supportive spaces where participants can share challenges, exchange knowledge, and build the confidence needed to navigate their new environments.

Why Women’s Circles?

More than just discussion groups, Women’s Circles provide:

  • A Voice: A space to share stories and validate experiences.

  • A Community: A network of support and connection.

  • Self-Leadership: Strengthening decision-making and resilience.

  • Entrepreneurial Growth: Encouraging risk-taking and business development in a trusted environment.

When women come together, they don’t just share experiences—they co-create solutions. The peer-driven approach ensures learning is meaningful, relevant, and empowering.

Beyond Training: A Model for Inclusion

By combining technical training with emotional support and mentorship, RELIGHT ensures that immigrant women gain both the skills and the confidence to succeed. Women’s Circles are not just a tool for learning; they are a model for inclusion, integration, and long-term impact.

At KLEMKA CoLAB, we are proud to support this innovative approach, proving that true empowerment happens when women uplift each other.
